Ho, ho, ho, nice sense of humour matey . We're not expensive as you get a good product
Hotrodder, you are welcome to provide some ballast in the passenger seat at Llandow this saturday ( west of Cardiff) I'll be there at 8.30 am - 5.00 pm so plenty of time on track. Where were you racing then ?
I didn't suggest you were expensive mate - Quality has to be paid for, we know that
Just make sure my 5 link rear end, coil over fronts etc is racking up a suitable discount with all these recommendations, hahahaha

I'm afraid its fully booked for kit cars as its an Omex trackday. I'm fortunate to know Omex's MD very well so had an invite. You are more than welcome to come on over though for a passenger ride. You will need to have a helmet and covered arms when in the car. ( brown paper bag is optional) Hope to see you there.
I believe that we will be at LLandow later this year. Chris Darwin is organising this charity event and has advertised in Minor Matters, so if you are quick you may well get a place.
i was racing at a track just of the toll on m6 in birmingham, it was a hotrod meet so there was load racing, i might go for adjustable spax rather then coilovers to save money, also what do you mean by triangulated radius arms
thanks tom
freshly painted 1275cc anda very loud big bore exhaust
I think you can do a lot better than Spax. We currently use AVO products.
Triangulated radius arms are mounted to the top of the axle tube either side of the diff, they then angle outwards towards the front spring hangers to form a 'triangle'. The benefit of this system as opposed to tramp bars is that they provide anti tramp and locate the axle in a similar fashion to a panhard rod. We run Omex's traveller with this system , plus a panhard rod and turreted rear dampers on std leaf springs. The front end is our A arm coil overs. The car has very neutral handling and can be thrown into corners at unbelievable speeds and still remain balanced.
The dampers we use are all gas . If you can PM me your email address I'll send you some pics of the radius arm kit. There should be one on the site if I remember.
Axle bracket welded either side of the diff and onto a large spreader plate and bracket at the front. inside the car beneath the seat is a load spreader plate to dissipate the stresses[frame][/frame][frame][/frame]
Afraid I lost all of the pics of the front kit install due to a puta crash some months ago Still hope these help
Great pics - and look v well made and sturdy - but in what way is it 'triangulated' ?? They look to be in line with the car centre line ? Or is that just the angle of the picture ??
Its the angle of the pic I think. The front bracket runs along side the front spring hanger, so they are about 6-8" wider per arm than the axle bracket end.
Has the rivett snapped or just pulled out. As you say a bolt will do the job fine. I'll make the supplier aware of the failure. Was this supporting a large silencer ? or do you have a pic of it.
