Well yes but when you first tell them that a cable has been brought down from a pole and that your phone is off you don't expect them to yes but have you tried plugging it in else where

It isn't I.T., it's more like how accountants work.
How can we pay as little as possible to support our customers = pay people in India, or where ever wages are low and English is spoken, to read questions off a screen.
Low wages, no training needed, win win as far as money men are concerned.
Don't blame IT, or the person on the end of the phone, take a look at the shareholders, the accountants and the board.
