Glove box doors

Post by ADO16 »

Hello all,

I'm in the final stages of finishing a friends 1958 Tourer and noticed that the glove box doors do not close right due to the miss matched receiver clips on the body side as well as the door itself. He wants me to use doors that have the chrome surround without the slotted opening at the top. Is there a way to modify it so I can make it close?
Thanks for your help!!

We have found that the small magnetic kitchen cupboard closers do the job well - not too big and available from anywhere i.e. builder's merchants superstores that sell "flatpack" kitchens
