Re: car servicing in bristol
It's people like that who go the extra mile who deserve as much business as they can handle in my opinion.
Sounds like a really decent chap

Thats what I think too, It's very rare these days to find someone like that.
I spoke to him today and he has got a front grill for me.

Re: car servicing in bristol
I have had Winston looked at and serviced by Russell last week. I can only say that this man is an absolute diamond ! He carried out the servicing quickly and thoroughly, not only taking time to explain to me what he was doing but also answered any questions I had in a patient ,easy to understand manner.
The Rocker cover gasket was replaced,(At no extra cost). The Alternator was not aligned correctly, that was remedied, again free,Fan Belt and speedo cable changed as well as all components pertaining to a service.
He then helped me to change all interior panels and Waxoyl the "hidden bits".
Russell will be back in March to carry out some welding for me.
I can recommend this man to anyone . If I understood him correctly he is also able to travel a fair distance from Bristol.
If you're like me and not mechanically adept then Russell is your man !

This sounds brilliant, pity I live so far away as I would jump at the chance at having work done by him. I hope is business continues to prosper.

I would also highly recommend Russell to anyone requiring work to be done on their Morris Minor. He has just gone over our latest acquisition and is extremely thorough as well as obliging. Working on Minors seems to be like second nature to him. You can contact him by email on rtgservices@live.com.

Russell is coming to us again next thursday, mainly to replace some panels and a spot of welding. Glad Mike pointed me in his direction...

Hello Russ
I have decided to go for a 1275 with a 5 speed gearbox. Will be better for longer trips, I have also got some disc brakes to fit,
Have you still got that escort rear axle?
Regards Mike
