There are plenty of places that do them for ~£25 a set. Buy a copy of Classic Car Weekly - usually advertised in there.

Re: Where can I get number plates from?
You get what you pay for tbh. Tippers, and similar companies, offer proper pressed ally plates with black enamelled background and polished letters which are really nice. Also raised letter - Ace and Bluemels type if you're that keen.
Whereas if you just want a cheap black and silver ally plate, the Minor specialists and the stalls you see at shows do the job. You sometimes get a slightly different more modern looking font, and it will be a laminated plate where the black part can peel off if they get bent (a possibility onthe front plate on a Minor) but they do the job pretty well for around £20 a pair.

Re: Where can I get number plates from?
The OP's car is new enough that it needs the more common 3 1/8 inch high characters, but pre-1963 cars would have had 3 1/2 inch, which some of the cheaper suppliers don't sell.
Isn't there an overall plate size problem with rear plates on Minors?

I know this company specifically make the plate to fit the boot recess, and their website is pretty informative.

Re: Where can I get number plates from?
Hi bought my new plates from esm, they supply the rear plate slightly smaller to fit prefectly into the bootlid. And excellent service as usual.
