It won’t be long unless repetitive strain injury catches up with him.

Are we starting a book?

It will feature 15 thou on the exhaust valves, alternative A series heads for the Minor, Wolseley drum brakes and you don't need to worry about unleaded!

Sober up folks - it's only a number!! But I'm glad to see the advice is getting through........, although for some - it may not be 'scientific' enough! And - you forgot to mention the (whisper it) Workshop Manual.

Yes, one of the wise one's recurring themes is that you should not worry about running a non converted Minor on unleaded. Here is a prime example of one of the nuggets of wisdom:-

" Re: lead subsitute?

"There is NO need for so called 'lead substitute' - and certainly there are no 'magic beans' .......... The A series engine runs just fine on unleaded fuel - unless you are constantly hammering it on the Mway. Just set the exhausts to 15 thou clearance, leave the inlets at 12. Even in the days ...

"15 thou" and "don't worry about unleaded" in one post!

Remarkably, I joined the forum two months before Roy and yet he has six times the post count! perhaps I have been offensive and had my posts moderated much more that BMC.

Well - here it is folks, the 20,000 post. Hope you have all enjoyed the advice I have offered over the ages! I know some don't agree with my comments, or perhaps my style - and some have even suggested the answers are 'not scientific enough'. Well - I do my best but I guess I can't please everyone all the time. Cheers!!
