Mk 1/2 Escort hubs
Hello all my zetec conversion is taking shape nicely now and starting to think about brakes again and one thought that i recently thought about was can i fit escort hubs to minor uprights? i am guessing not as lots of people would be but worth asking the question i thought. The reason i have not gone down the marina route to save money is i need the wheels to be ford to go with the rear axle.

You can have the exiting hubs converted to alter the spacing of the wheel studs so they will take a ford wheel but it isn't something you can do yourself unless you can be VV accurate with drilling. I am sure the usual suppliers could help you and Jonathan would be the one to tell you if you can use escort hubs on minor uprights.

Re: Mk 1/2 Escort hubs
i do not think they are the ford stud pattern.. i think the ford means they are ford brake parts as opposed to marina brake parts.
I would have thought they would be able to convert / make them in the ford stud pattern for you.

Re: Mk 1/2 Escort hubs
paying for quality, mine didnt come with spacers so i had to grind the calipers down to get the wheel to go round
