brake bleeding study ..

Post by xpress »

hi there guys and girls.

can i just ask, how many pedals does it normally take to bleed the rear brakes and the front ones?

i used a brake bleeding kit the one with the valve ball, and tightened up the bleed nipples before the up pedal and opened on the down pedal. i still noticed very tiny micro bubbles i think. also on the left side front bleed nipple, it seems to empty the cylinder quite quickly.

when bmcecosse says he uses gravity to bleed the brakes could you go into more details bmc? does this mean that you open up the nipples a half turn with the clear tubing and leave it for how long exactly, do you do this without pedalling?

thank you.
