hi all,
i want to replace the bushes on the rear springs on my 58 van..
i ve done the rear ones with the shackle plates, no problems there...
however the front ones seem far from simple... do i have to undo the Ubolts and the rear shackles to slide it off the front or is there an easier way..
thanks in advance
Jake

Be carefull taking off the nut on the front pin. Clean up the thread and use penetrating fluid if it feels at all tight. I say this because mine sheared off very easily which left an awkward repair.

Re: LCV leaf spring removal
and you may have to burn the old bush out
you may be lucky and the spring will pop off
but sometimes levering helps and rocking to and fro
