Re: Selling My Morris
It's worth what someone wants to pay. Put it on ebay to find it's true value (with perhaps a reserve that you are comfortable with). There are too many folk with strange ideas as to value, and wonder why their cars don't sell. If you price it realistically it will sell.

Re: Selling My Morris
Yeh dude don't sell her/him. Do what I have done and just wrap it up to keep it dry until the money comes in to do a good job on it (if it's money you are struggling with). You'll regret it the moment it goes.

Re: Selling My Morris
I can't understand why you want a later model. I think they started to go downhill after about 1960.

Re: Selling My Morris
I think you may regret getting a later car in place of the early one - the later ones are a bit more 'bland' and the early ones a bit more 'quirky'. I much prefer the early seats compared to the later versions.
The main advantage of a post 62 saloon is the 1098 engine and box which is of course more powerful, but you've already got that. You've already got flashing indicators so no issues about regular use.
As for price, it's a can of worms. Standard early cars are usually only sought after by purists. Later cars are wanted by 'the general public' (Generalising heavily here!!). An updated early car can fall between 2 camps and although you've got the best of both worlds, unless you find a buyer who wants "just that" then you won't get a good price.
