Always useful for uprated brakes as we all know. I have discovered someone on ebay who has excellent feedback and sends out goods with a trade label 'Wolseley 1500 Spares'. His brake package included used backplates but new shoes and cylinders both of which have recently been touted as 'difficult to obtain' on this forum. This is his ebay page http://shop.ebay.co.uk/red1230-1/m.html ... m=&_ipg=25.
Hope it helps people out.

Wolseley 1500 parts
Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.
Re: Wolseley 1500 parts
Errr - yes, that was the set I pointed out a while back. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MORRIS-MINOR-1000 ... 255909172b He certainly doesn't have any W1500 parts at the moment.

Re: Wolseley 1500 parts
Hi,
As a Riley 1.5 owner I can confirm that 'Wolseley 1500 Spares' does have a vast wealth of parts for the 1500 and the 1.5, probably the most extensive stocks in the world! He only sells parts on Ebay occasionally.
The chap behind it is Andy Bradley, who I have met and bought from many times during the course of the restoration of my 1.5. Many years ago I bought a 3.7:1 diff from him for my MG Midget, so if you're looking for any 'upgrade' bits from the 1500 / 1.5 I'd suggest trying him.
I have no connection to this business other than as a satisfied customer.

Re: Wolseley 1500 parts
I know BMC. I was just emphasising that he may be an ongoing sourch of parts rather than a one-off private seller.

Hi
Are the rear brakes worth upgrading to Wolseley items?
Thanks

Re: Wolseley 1500 parts
Hi,
Sorry if this has been covered plenty of times in the past, but is there anything to look out for, such as needing Wolesely handbrake cables for instance (will do the front brakes first, of course
)
Thanks again
paul

When I did this many moons ago - I just used the Minor cables. Does give a fantastic lock-the-wheels handbrake!
