Coloured line/stripe down sides of car?
Hi there. After finally getting my paintwork up to scratch with various polishing products and techniques, part of the white line that runs down the side of the car (can't remember what it's called) has been rubbed off and I would like to get it redone. Does anyone know where I can get maybe a new decal or perhaps a bodyshop can do 'pinstriping'? How have others done it?
Thanks
Steve
Thanks
Steve
Just J-j-j-jiggle it a bit.

The factory did it with a steady hand but I have to use masking tape.

Here you go, get a dagger brush and practice, practice, practice.

Re: Coloured line/stripe down sides of car?
have you thought of using letra-tape?
it looks just as good as paint, is waterproof, and , crucially, no slips!
mine came with it, and it seems to have stood the test of time (despite spending it's life with it's previous owner uncovered by the sea!)
just make sure the surface it is applied to is clean and free from dust.
hope this helps,
Matt

I've just had my car resprayed and originally it had the painted line on, but the garage have replaced it with an adhesive one and I must say i'm pretty impressed with it. The only thing with it is it appears REALLY white, but this might tone down a bit with age, but it does look really crisp.
