eye bolt thread

is the eye bolt thread 9/16 bsf. and is it better to use a spring washer and plane nut or the nylock type nut?

Nylock nut is fine provided the thread engages the 'nylock'. Sorry don't know the thread.

Yes the eyebolt thread is 9/16 BSF, 16TPI.
