strange thing with the tacho
Fitted the same tahco as i have in the Traveller wired the same way into the saloon.....When i try to start the engine for the first time it wont start dosent seem like theres a spark....dissconnect the tacho wires to coil and it will start no problem, reconnect them still runs...switch off and restart and it fires up no problem Why wont it fire up for the first time!!??

please do not take offence at this... but are both car earthed the same way negative \ positive?

Yep, both the same 
The think i cant work out is If its left a while, the 1st time you try to start it it wont fire take the wires off the coil it will start, put them back on...still runs...Switch off and restart and it will start no problem?!!
