Engine wiring
hey guys, im a bit confused at the min as i will be putting a toyota 4-age in my minor but how would i go about wiring it up??? this may sound noobish but can you use a normal minor wiring loom??? or a 4-age wiring loom, any answers will be muchly appreciated

Re: Engine wiring
I guess if it comes with it's own (electronic?) ignition system - then it will need appropriate wiring supply!

Re: Engine wiring
You will have to work it out yourself, unless there is someone here who has experience of fitting this engine.
Is it carb/points ignition or fuel injection/electronic ignition, computer even?
Whichever it is you need to look at and understand the 4-age wiring diagram and break it down to; it needs 12 volts here and here when it's running, and 12 volts here to start.
If it's carb/points ignition then it will be relatively simple, otherwise get your thinking cap on.
It wont be that hard, just think about each bit that needs power, when, and supply it.
