oil filter housing

No doubt this has been asked many times, the oil filter housing off a mini engine will go straight onto the minor one?

or is there a particular mini engine to look out for, would be cheaper than buying the kit of the parts shops?

i want to change to a cannister type befoe the engine goes back into the chassis.

Yes -any Mini engine with that casing is fine - but do get the studs that go with it - some are shorter. And take great care with the pipe connections - it's all too easy to twist the pipe!
