Trying to trace 745 WMM

Would anyone know what might have happened to my greatly missed first Minor, registration 745 WMM? It was a two door saloon in smoke grey and I believe it was first registered in 1959. Regrettably I had to sell the car in the late summer of 1987 as I was moving overseas to work in Hong Kong. At the time I was living in Faversham in Kent and sold the car to a chap who intended to restore her properly, though from what I recall the registration plate was probably worth more than the vehicle at the time. Selling the Minor was one of the worst things about the move, though I had no real option back then as money was tight. I have looked up the registration on the DVLA site, but it comes up as no trace. Maybe someone out there knows whether the car was re-registered under a different number. Any information would be extremely welcome.

Well I'm afraid according to DVLA that number plate is now on a 1976 convertible mercedes! So it is possible that the minor is still around but it would be difficult to find out.

Either that - or the Minor had a very extensive 'make-over'!
