Prop Vibe

Post by PSL184 »

Would a little stiffness in the UJ cause a vibration or is it worse to have loose joint? I have a choice of 2 to fit to replace one that someone has jacked up the car on (bent) and I don't want to do the job twice.....?

If the stiff one won't free-off with greasing - I would go with the loose one !

Good idea - I'll try greasing it. Its just a bit stiffer at the ends of travel - I guess it has taken on a "set"...
