front lower end of inner wheel arch
Hi i am having to do some welding in this area, the picture is of someone's repair on the forum, apologies, forget whose but it looks really good - my question is, are there repair panels available for these 2 repair areas or do you have to make your own as here? I am a bit short of time so would prefer to buy rather than make but can't see this listed anywhere[frame]

Re: front lower end of inner wheel arch
The sill panel is available - the parts on the wheel arch are just flat sheet.

Re: front lower end of inner wheel arch
Its not an area that I have ever bought panels for - It is so easy to make them for about £1.00 worth of steel. I guess panels are available but they would no doubt be £15.00 +

Yes i know it would be easy, just that I am running seriously out of time with an MOT looming and no garage....never mind I will make them!

Re: front lower end of inner wheel arch
Just checked on Bully's website and the panels are only available as a full inner wheel arch panel and a full flange panel - You don't want to know the price

Oh well lying on the ground outside welding in March is a lot of fun so making the bits will be a bit more fun

Re: front lower end of inner wheel arch
You will have to make the pieces up, Not hard, but you need to fold a slight curve in the wheelarch corner and a slight fold in the b pillar piece. I would weld exactly as in that picture with plug welds for the flanges and butt welds where the repairs meet the inner wing and b pillar.
Don't forget to protect the inside of the repair as well!
