Side Mirrors?

XTX doesn't have any side mirrors at all, and I think I should have some in honour of safety and observation! I had about 5 pairs of spare mirrors come with Rita, and when I've fitted a pair to XTX, the others will either be kept as spares or sold with Rita.
So, what are the pros and cons of mounting them on the Wings or the Doors? (I have mirrors suited for both positions.)

I'm not too keen on the wing mirrors that came on the car; I have always had door mirrors and I prefer them. I am going to offer up some MGB/Midget door mirrors, as I reckon they may well fit quite neatly and they are readily available.
