Hello from Northampton
Hello all,
Having browsed these pages many times as a guest I have decided to come clean, register and introduce myself.
I am one of that rare breed who has been introduced to the joys of Moggy driving by his son rather than the other way round.
After buying 2 moggies on Andrew's behalf and attending various rallies with him (including last year's web rally and MOT UK), the bug has taken hold to the point where I have just bought 2 for 'parental' use - a 4 door saloon for restoration and a traveller for use hopefully on this year's MOT in France.
A few of you already know me from rallies etc but to help confirm 'suspicions' I should say at this point that although my son is known to me as Andrew he is better known to web members as Andy W or Sidney'61.
Cheers,
Eric W

Welcome!
That's the trouble with moggies - they do tend to be addictive

Re: Hello from Northampton
Knew the bug would "bite" you soon.
How about a "test run" to the Birmingham Branch Rally?

Re: Hello from Northampton
Thanks for the welcome folks.
I hope to get a few photos on Sunday (weather permitting) and will try to upload them.
We will hopefully be attending various rallies over the summer but unfortunately not MOT UK this time (sorry David).
I cannot get the time off work but Andrew will be there - if he can find the way without his map reader.
Gill and I are booked on MOT France this year instead. That is the main reason for buying the traveller - to save having to borrow Andrew's saloon and use up most of his annual mileage allowance.

Sorry we won't be seeing you on MOT-UK this year Eric, but enjoy your Minor.
PS As well as map reading, is Andrew OK for breakfasts
