Try getting someone to push down on it while you operate the pull.

Attached a bunjee cord to the pull and have tried shoving thumping banging and its still jammed. The pull wire isnt broken just my luck

Does the bonnet pull feel normal?
Maybe a push down and sideways could help.

Dont know how it happened but after your post I noticed that the gap on the drivers side was twice the other side banged it hard and I mean hard to the side and it sprung free
