Re: engine flush
Don't waste money on 'flush'! I have used the cheap ASDA 20w50 oil for years - no problems at all. Can't vouch for Morrissons - But I suspect it will be just the same oil. Use it! Most important thing is to change the filter - and MAKE SURE the little plate and spring are present under the filter cartridge.

Re: engine flush
They can be handy but I would avoid a flush unless the engine is relatively new or a new rebuild etc, as it could loosen 30+ years of sludge, carbon buildup in the engine oilways & deposit it on the bearings.
Just get the oil nice and hot before draining so any deposits will be held in suspension in the oil when drained out

Re: engine flush
Take it back mate and ask for money back - explain it's not suitable for classic cars!

Re: engine flush
might just do that.
it needs a decoke anyway, so i might as well do the job properly while in at it. its great having a brother in the trade as you get everything discounted. oil filter for £1.79 and spark plugs for £1.20 each.
(keeps me happy)
