Have you had a look behind the interior panels to see if the wiring is still there?

Are the semaphores still fitted? Is the switch lever still fitted underneath behind the steering wheel? If you have to buy new switches and semaphores they are expensive... £60 each from suppliers, may be cheaper on ebay.

Fortunately they only work by two wires, one goes via a bullet connector to the semaphore body, then an earth cable connects to the body work.

If the wiring isn't there, yo will have to look at the BMC workshop manual for a wiring diagram and follow some new cable through. This may be difficult if your car is a four door as the cable runs behind the roof lining... but it's not impossible. :D

If you have indicators fitted there is a wiring diagram on the Series MM website under tech info for wiring trafficators and indicators from the same switch http://seriesmm.mmoc.org.uk
