1952 MM Saloon RHD in original condition and unrestored.
I'm about to complete the maintenance on my 1952 MM. In the past few months I have:
1. Completed and installed a new engine "short block" and installed the original Alta cylinder head.
2. Rebuilt all brakes.
3. Rebuilt the rear suspension.
4. Replaced the front rebound rubbers (Up and down).
5. Added a water pump (old engine didn't have one).
6. Changed all fluids including gasoline, filters etc.
I am waiting for two bearings to complete the rebuild of an extra transmission I have. The trans. is from an early Series II. My present transmission is OK but the Ser II is geared higher and will make a better match to the Alta head.
Next up will be the wheels and tires. I have a wheel I wish to try at a machine shop having the center hole enlarged so I can do a test fit.
Pictures if you wish?

Interesting stuff. Good to see another new member! Welcome to our humble forum! I only wish I had the technical know-how you possess...the most complex thing I've done on my car is disassemble and reassemble the doors.
Absolutely on the pix! We'd love to see 'em!

Here are a few pictures. Since these were taken I have cleaned and painted and tidyed(sp?).

I have had the car out for a drive and it is running so nice! I'm waiting for good weather (it snowed today).

Welcome to the forum! Your car looks great. I like the Alta OHV cylinder conversion, looks great and nice period mod.
I was told by an Alta/lowlight owner that they can be as fast as a Minor 1000 or quicker.
