New "CLOTH" top for my Series MM Tourer

Post by oliver-morrisminor »

I have been in contact with ESM regarding a "CLOTH" top for my Tourer,
I like the material and the price, BUT they only make them with a 1000 type/size back window.

Does anybody know of a firm that will make a Cloth top (rather than the plastic or Vinyl)
for a Series MM Tourer with the Correct size/shape rear window? And willing to deal
with me in Australia?

I would also need a cover for the top when folded down & maybe
2 metres or so of extra cloth to recover the removable side screens,
I could get them recovered locally here in Australia.

Don Hoods in Birmingham make them for Series MMs with 3 sticks and small window in Double Duck canvas. Only problem is that they make them to fit your car. Now if you could ship your car over for a couple of days!!!!!!!!!
I suppose that they could be persuaded to fit someone elses car with the hood and you would have to hope that it fits your car.

ESM, used to get there hoods from here http://www.polyfacto.co.uk/ but they have recently been taken over by another company. you could contact them and they maybe able to supply one with a small window as the mohair and duck hoods have stitched windows. Hope thats some help
