There is at least 2 different threads going on within this one thread - I for one am completely lost as to who has what and needs what and can't do what !!!!!!!!! :evil:

managed to get 1 hub off replaced the studs, anyone know what the torque is for the hub nut :-?

will have a look tonight and get back to you.. so what bolts are you using? and do you have alloy wheel nuts for them?

i bought a set of mgf studs of ebay £15 delivered. got the wheel nuts when i bought the mgf wheels. :D

haynes state the following torque settings..

100 - 110 lbf ft
or
135 - 149 Nm

I got confused by the photo as it shows MG wheels.. i had forgotten about the initial thread.. oh well of to build my wiring loom!

Yes - the MGF wheels look great on a Minor - it's the one reason I would consider going for Marina brakes ! :roll:

Ohh - can I ? With my (t)rusty Black & Decker ?

I doubt there is enough 'meat' on the hubs to do that safely - and the half shafts - and the brake drums - sounds like a LOT of hard work........

would it not be easier just to "slot" the holes in the mgf wheels to fit the moggy stud pattern :wink:

( just in case anyone asks... no I am not serious! do not attempt it, it would be dangerous)

It may be a lot safer and more practical to redrill the MGF wheels to 4" PCD! Has anyone attempted that ?
