Novice on the loose

Hi

Last year when I took my engine out, I carefully photographed which wires went where, unfortunately it has taken several months to get the engine back in and the quality of the photos taken bear no real resemblance to reality. Can anyone help? I need a picture of the wires which go from the starter motor, coil/condenser, distributor etc, basically the spade connector bits on the drivers side engine bay.

Could you post some pictures of the wire you have in the rough place where you think they should be connected?

Generally - by their length in the harness - it's fairly obvious where they go! But Barry's diagram should make it clear - provided you can wipe the grime off the wires to see their colours!
