If it has had some porting and valve work done to it already it won't follow the normal rules in terms of how it will perform on a 1275 block. Try it and let us know :lol:

If you have a 1275 engine - sell the 295 - but squeeze him up to £60 - or - offer it on here! Honestly - it won't be any good on a 1275. In the list earlier - the 12G295 was also fitted on the MG 1100, and the 12G206 is every bit the equal of the 295 head - in fact - possibly better - because it doesn't have the grooves for the inlet manifold locating rings!
