Are old radiators worth hanging on to?
I have two old leaky radiators removed from cars which I have broken over the years, are they worth keeping or should I just scrap them? Do you get a service exchange on them when purchasing replacement? are they worth recoiling? Im just trying to sort through my vast amount of spares to make a bit of room, and believe me I have a lot of spares, engines/gearboxes/axles/panels etc etc.....

agree with bmce. these days with new ones in production its pointless, unless you know someone who re-cores for a drink? I paid 30pound for a recore last year but with time and petrol, it was not really worth it.

Re: Are old radiators worth hanging on to?
If they are Minor ones & the header tanks are ok I would keep them as they would be handy for exchange or a recore. I was glad of my last (leaky)spare after the one in the car got crushed beyond repair in an accident last year & needed a good base unit for a recore
If its off something modern with plastic tanks I wouldn't bother

Just a thought - Before dumping them put them in the free section as someone might want a 2nd radiator to send for re-conditioning to avoid taking their Minor of the road.
