Cab area water leaks

After finally getting my windscreen properly sealed I was hoping that I'd seen the last of water in the cab. Infact it's not too bad, as in it only leaks in heavy rain or when snow thaws. I suspect that water is coiming in there the windscreen wipers meet the bodywork and/or the screenwash squirters and bonnet hinges. Has anyone else had a similar problem? Is it worth putting silicone underneath the gaskets? (a fiddly job around that area) or is it normal for Minors to leak a little??[frame][/frame]

There are gaskets available ready cut for all those areas, or you can even cut your own gaskets out of old bike inner tube. All those items come off fairly easily, although the nut around the wiper spindles might be a bit of a pig to get off. Sillicone won't do it. Avoid sillicone!

Bonnet hinges are held on with 3/16 whitworth head (1/4 BSF) nuts.

Thanks, but I feel I should have explained further. All of the parts in front of the screen are new complete with gaskets and even stainless nuts & washers. On the bonnet hinges I ended up using the paper version over the rubber type as I found it fit better. I was suggesting silicone as a way of sealing ie loosen the parts off, apply silicone around the edges, re tighten nuts and wipe off excess. But perhaps there is a better substance than silicone for sealing? or perhaps I should just leave it be.

Use a bit of winscreen sealer, or a bit of seam sealer. Really though if the gaskets are new and fit properly there should be no leaks.

Get a mate to run a hose over the cab while you look inside with a torch and see if you can find where the water is coming in.
