Identification of Brake Shoes - Ford?

Post by reprs »

I have an Escort rear axle which I am fitting to my pickup. It has brake shoes which I thought were Mk1 Escort but having bought some they are too narrow.

The shoes are 229mm dia x 57mm. Picture attached, can anyone identify? I think they are Cortina 1980ish but am not certain.[frame]Image[/frame]

Full marks Jonathon - Even Ford couldn't help but LCP in High Wycombe identified them in 4 minutes....Cortina/Capri and back axle is Capri 3 litre! Had them re-lined, they look like new! Cheers!
