1964 Morris Minor (BCD 210B)
Hi there this is the morris minor i have bought off moggietom and hopefully might be restoring it so i thought i would show a few pictures of how it is now and hopefully put loads more on when i have stripped the front end down.

As you say it'll make a great daily driver and will certainly turn heads.

yes it has a alternator conversion and had a reconditioned engine fitted i have removed the front bumper earlier and some of the grille bolts.

not sure yet but it certainly be back on the road i am going to guess if it goes to plan about june/july 2010

i have half a day at school tomorrow so am hopeing to get the grille off and the wings as my morris minor mate who deals with them is going to come and investigate and tell me if it can be done then if it can be done he will take it away and repair it for me then i can put it all back together.

It looks like its split the base of the inner wing clean off the chassis leg - which is lucky if it hasn't taken the leg with it. I'd need to see it or some pics of the offside though to be sure. I think it's an easy repair though all the same so don't be taken in for too much money if you are contracting the work out....

All looks doable. hopefully the chassis legs have missed the impact which will make life easier.

Or just replace the roof with one off a scrap Minor, I did that with one that had been rolled.

Must admit the roof does look a bit dented. So see the positive here and build a convertible, should be ready for the summer
