Like SteveandKelly, we had a problem logging in with an & in our username. Jon changed it to Harry'n'Doreen and it didn't like the ' in the user name either. All sorted now and huge thanks to Jon for his help.

Seems to me the number of 'posters' on the Forum is seriously down since the so called 'upgrade' took place? Are they lost in space - or just left behind ?? Or unable to log in because of a fault in the board ??

I like it, well done Jon, if he were to have started off with this layout and changed to one similar to the old style I bet there still would have been people complaining. I suppose it's to be expected, the reason a lot of people still own morris minors is because they are resistant to change!

I don't mind it myself. One thing I think may need changing and might be what is causing 'headaches' is that the colours are very light. Maybe dull down the blues. I am 18 and my eyes are aching a bit looking at it too long. The shade of grey of the title bar is fine.
Apart from that I like the neat look.

Yer definately. Also means pictures don't widen the screen so we have to scroll too. The size is perfect!

But it's still far too narrow - with wide band of empty white - now on left, was on right!
I see some say 'wide screen' - well - NOT on my computer!
And there are definitely far less posts these last few days!

Maybe it's just the weather putting people off. There are those of us that are on here all the time but there are also those who only come on when they have something to ask/update us with in regards to working on their car. The weather is stopping people working on their cars therefore no questions/updates to post.

Darkening the text sounds good to me. The new look is taking some getting use to but it seems faster.

I've been practicing a 30 minute presentation I have to do a work, normally I would be browsing this site. It's nothing to do with the upgrade at all. Fail to prepare.. prepare to fail is my moto when it comes to presentations!

I am also back. Having a few problems with rembering my password etc. As I am still new to the forum, the "new look" didn't bother me much. I suppose that the more I use it the more I will get use to the new look. It still contains a great deal of infomation on almost every topic under the sun, It's provides a great deal of amusement and is a great tool for making friends.

I find the site is very slow in IE, just constantly get blank pages, but no probs in Firefox....
