Does my grille look right?

Post by cats-whiskers »

I am still getting to know my new Moggy (1968 2 door) and finding out any little idiosyncrasies. I am not sure if the grille surround looks quite right, so I am -hopefully - posting a couple of pics for learned perusal. It's the area at the bottom that seems wrong. The previous owner did do some front end dismantling, and I wonder if everything went back correctly.[frame]Image[/frame]

Looks a bit wonky all right on the top and bottom. It should be parallel to the white grill. Bit odd all right.

Hi Brian. Brilliant link, many thanks. I've tried before to find clear pics of the grille but they are all usually too far away. These are excellent, but sadly prove that I have a bit of a problem with mine. When all this snow finally clears I'll investigate fully. Maybe let my wife sit on it for a few minutes if it needs straightening.

Hi. I did try and post 2 pics, one of which was taken further away. Seems it's off in the ether somewhere. The link Brian gave me shows pretty clearly that there is a problem with my grille, so soon as the weather clears I shall attack it and report back.
