Laurence Llewellyn Bowen

Post by Ondergard »

I'm not sure this is on UK-wide, but on BBC Wales/Cymru Laurence Llewellyn Bowen is visiting stately homes in Wales, and is driving round in a four-door saloon, which I think is "D" reg - they pixillate the number - which looks like it is in Clarendon Grey (my colour sense isn't all that good!).

It is, apparently, his own, and he genuinely drives around in it quite a lot, it isn't some stunt-driven thing wished on him by the production team.

Good on yer, LLB! Is he a member of the MMOC? Does he appear on this board? :D

What do you remember better, your first car or first kiss? Well, conveniently, my first kiss was with a car, it was a Morris Minor – she was lovely.

It's definately grey. A stand in car was used when his own one broke down:

Out of all the TV designers(changing rooms etc..) we had in the 90's he was my favourite (and sometimes the only one I could stomach).
Glad to see he's still got good taste :D

Hmm Bill Bailey had a dove grey Minor (which I think he sold on here a few years' ago), and now LLB. Sticks in my mind as my first Minor was also dove grey.
