what modern seats fit best in a 2 door

Post by oldmod1968 »

Hi, I here that rover 2000 seats are an easy fit but are there any you can use the rear seat as well and easily get into the rear seata. Does anyone make up seat sub frames? Ah and I have a trafalgar Blue so am looking for blue or grey setas ? Chris

Hi Chris, Metro seats tended to be a good alternative for the fronts and with some aptitude can be re-clothed to suit your needs. The maestro was also okay for front seats. Backs will be more difficult, as with more modern front seats severely restrict rear leg space (kids only).

Hi Chris

If you are still looking I have a couple of old grey Metro front seats if you are interested.

They are dirty, but should clean up well, there are no tears.

You can easily get the sub frames and I can dig out the suppliers name if you need it.

I can't help with the rear ones though.

Regards

Seat adapter frames are made by Newton Commecial, 01728 832880. A bit pricey though!
