The first one I did, I used the same position as Jonathon, which was perfect. When I did a later one and used the floor of the engine bay, I subsequently found that it prevented removal of the starter motor unless I first removed the distributor; so definitely follow Jonathon's lead.
Note - you should mount it slightly 'nose up' - and, you will need to repipe the rear brakes through the servo - or only have servo assist on the front brakes!
Surprised you find the need for a servo on a small car like the Minor ?
But as you often say BM its nothing to do with braking power,( or size of car), its more to do with the feel of the pedal.
Agree on the re pipe, but would not recommend a servo on drums myself, fine and dandy on discs however

yep thats no problem.
well i have just fitted a midget pedal box, to go with my marina engine and box, and i have also fitted a mk2 escort rear end so i would hope to have a usable daily for when i start driving.
The servo i have just removed from "Trev" the Traveller seems to be much older than those seen pictured on here, Im in the process of putting "Trev" back on the road as he has been stud standing for over 10 years, I know nothing about cars, but am learning so much... Any advice would be appreciated.
Ours is mounted from the inner wing, on the RH side of the engine bay and low down, but the other way round from Jonathan's picture, with the nose pointing up slightly! Removing the starter does mean removing the distributor first, but is that the same for an A-Series with 'Jonathan's' way round?
