Place called Smallthorne which is a village next to the town of Burslem. Burslem is known as the Mother Town of the Pottteries and is the oldest of the six towns making up the city of Stoke-on-Trent. We are to the North of the City and travelling a couple of miles north and we are into the Staffordshire Moorlands (lovely countryside) and a couple of miles south and we are into the city.

No, because I didn't know about it until it was too late - even now I'm a bit vague on the details! I think the guy in my village I alluded to is a leading light in it. I think it happens on a Sunday, as well, which lets me out, unfortunately - Sundays are impossible.santadawes wrote:Hi there. do you take part in the Milford - Tenby run?Ondergard wrote:I'm in a village called Rosemarket, between Milford Haven and Haverfordwest in God's Own County, Pembrokeshire.
Another member, Animal Jack (green refurbed van and a Trav) lives in Pembroke Ferry, just below the Cleddau Bridge, about four miles from me. Or twenty seven miles if the bridge is shut.
There's a guy in my village with two Morris Oxford MO's and at least one minor (black) and actually may have more.

Odd coincidence. I've been tentatively asked to preach in the local Methodist Church near where a couple from my congregation in Milford Haven have a house. It's nearr Phoenix Arizona - a place called Paradise. They live there for four months of the year (in fact they are there now).shoebone wrote:Phoenix, Arizona.and before this (Eight months ago).. Thrapston in Northants.
Another odd coincidence is that I lived in Rushden, and preached in Thrapston, for seven years - 1997-2004.

Morris HQ (aka Mum's garage/drive) is in Kidbrooke, SE London. Brother's Mog, my Trav and various other restoration projects live here.......... My house, Isle of Grain, Kent is home to Convertible and Everyday Mog. Mostly I spend my time on the fabulous A2 commuting between the above (in a mog of some description course)

Steve & Kelly may be right, although things have calmed down in the last 18 months. We have a lot of Moggies in Bath, and it is a treat to see regulars out on the road, even at this time of year.Steve&Kelly wrote:Anyone else noticed that there are no West Country moggie owners willing to be more exact about where they live ? We are all too afraid to be that's why!
There's been too many stolen in our neck of the woods,it's probably the root cause of my insomnia.........
A couple of months ago, we had three spontaneously parked by each other in Bear Flat (a small suburban shopping precinct). A fourth Moggie (A Trafalgar Blue Traveller) swung by and nearly lost control when he saw the three together.
A neighbour on our street has a saloon called Daisy, and she and Doreen are often parked next to each other. We imagine that they are close friends.
All completely irrational by any sane measure, of course...

Rita lives in the back garden, tucked behind an old Ford chassis and under a few new wings xD
She's pretty frosty in this pic, and you can just make out her rediculous rust levels! No worry, her shiny new hubcaps are on the back seat.
She'd be in the garage, but there's a range rover in the way. Silly range rovers.
This was taken through the kitchen window this morning.
