Can you get the piston to rise and fall at different speeds by changing the oil?

Ahh - thanks - but here's the thing - it's NOT animated on my computer! Neither does the (now banished) train go round - or the 'roll' smilie roll it's eyes any more! Any suggestions how to fix this folks ?
But - it's ok on Google Chrome - just not working on Opera.
Edit - It works now - pull down menu 'Tools' (in Opera) had a box for 'enable animations' which had somehow become 'un ticked'. Box now ticked, and SU back in full working prder.

thicker oil will only slow it rising - the falling speed should not be affected as the damper has a bypass ;-)

However - the damper plunger is missing, so the animated one shouldn't have any damping at all.

Didn't know that. Where is it, in the piston?

Presumably if it becomes blocked the engine will run a bit rich?

Oh and Happy New Year everyone.........
