iv not been on here long maybe 2 weeks now but i feel welcomed by everyone i was a member of another car forum that i wil keep annonamous and just because i didnt own that sort of car i wasnt welcomed :( on here iv already made a friend and have learnt alot about them already. Its nice to have people help me out as at the end of the day im 18 and will be helping to keep the morris spirit alive! :D many thanks patrick

Hi Pat an interest in the cars is the main thing, we have some member's at our branch who don't own one and its not a problem at all :D

bmcecosse- thanks for the pm and il post some pics soon as i get my beast!

kevin- iv bin intrested in cars since i was a boy! going to banger racing meetings and helping my dad with road cars. im hoping to get a few once iim on the road my dream job would be to work at a hotrod shop restoring pre war jobbies! and have the morris as the daily driver

it happens. but bein 18 driving it to college it really stands out of the car park. all my mates love mine even though they laughed at first entill i gave them a ride in it.

Yep I agree it's a great forum, all of the members are really great people to meet in person too! You can look forward to coming to some of the rallies in summer! Im 18 too btw and used to take my minor to school, it's great fun and nice to be different!

Were friendly here well most of us are but we are not the only forum who welcome outsiders I have had a lot of help from one of the mini forums

Nice to have another Morris fan! Yes, indeed everyone here I find too, are very nice, helpful and willing to take it to the next step. I live in the states and there is really not much support for this car but I have felt closer to a good source by just this forum alone. So, hats off to you all and I can't agree more Pat!!!

Enjoy the forum Pat and as people have said there is a vast amount of excellent information people are willing to share, so you can get great enjoyment out of owning a Morris Minor ( a practical little car and fun aswell)

wow thanks for all the nice comments! To keep things short il be driving mine to college (itl stand out against the normal cars) and im planning on doing alot of travveling in the morris when i get it! So far sheffield and cornwall are lined up :) thanks again everyone!

I wish you great joy with your car, Patrick. It is so hard driving a modern car after driving a moggie! Your car will stand out, and still be on the road after the dull silver boxes have been scrapped.

This forum is a thing of such great beauty! I feel as if I know so many people here, although I would not recognise anyone to say hello to on the street. You will get so much help and advice, and all given with a willing heart.

thanks harry and doreen i havent driven one yet but cant wait! Were lucky enough to have 2 minis at college and im friendly with them. Seems everyone on the scene is very friendly!

i have my son (16 ) who has got a 4 door 1958 minor my 10 year wonts one the kids come round to play with my kids love the minors i have soem just wanna go for a ride in the traveller or teh convertible but roof has to be down for that
there is meany people near the area that will help out if needed
