Can anyone tell me what colours minors were finished in over the many years of production, what colours each model was available in and over what period of time. Or if anyone knows of a source of information on the subject. I would like to compile a list as a New Years project. I have felt for some time that it would be nice if the club magazine could do an article on colours and as far as printing allows, samples of each colour. I appreciate that printed colours are not always true.
Many thanks for the links. The information is very comprehensive indeed and I see a lot of work has gone into compiling the tables. My next question is , may I reproduce some the information in our branch newsletter which I write. Most of our members are not on the internet and I thought a list of colours for the various years and models would be useful, especially to the new members who we are very keen to hold on to. I am always mindful of copyright, even if just passing on a photo on an email.
I am sure that you will find a lot of useful information on the Series MM website for all models, not just MMs. The MM information is available in an A4 booklet form, price £4 + p&p for anyone without internet facilities.

Thanks,Clive
That's a good question regarding copyright.
I compiled the tables years ago from the literature available at the time and then updated it as new info became available.
I guess the information should be in the public domain and as such I think it would be great to reproduce it in your branch newsletter.

but if they did not have internet access on here they would not be reading this
Yes I take the point! I have just had a look at Mikes link for the MM's. This is a very interesting website and I intend to explore it very thoroughly.
Much of the information in the booklet and on the website has been researched from various sources including first hand at rallies, and articles have been contributed by several authors.
Acknowledgements have been given to the main contributors and permission has been sought in person.
If I have missed anyone then I hope that they will accept my apologies.
