Door close
Can someone give me any advice on my Million driver door, passenger door shuts fine but the driver door closes and locks but only on a good slam with pressure, I have adjusted the striker as far as it will go. Thanks Stephen

I guess it's to do with the sealing of the draft excluder around the door, the seal that runs 4" from the base of the door or the seal that seals on the sill cover underneath the door. One of these could be tight and making the door bind before it is shut. I found on mine it was the four inch up one, to make it work I had to remove the steel strengthener from inside the seal and make sure the carpet pulled the sill cover into the car as far as possible. If its the draught excluder, take it off and using a rubber mallet tap the welded seam in a few millimeters. If you tap it too far, you can always tap it back again. If it's the one underneath..... ummmm... you may have to lift the door a tad?

be careful in tapping the welds around the door frame, chipped paint etc
best to take it all off and see if the door shuts ok then, this will eliminate the bottom door seals
sometimes it will be easier to shut the door with the window wound down, if this is the case then the tops need pulling out a bit or the welds knocking back
also the original type door seals are normally smaller in section
