Just been Given Weber carb

Hi I have just been given a weber 28/36 DCD carb can any one give me any ideas as to what the jets should be.

Hopeless on an A series - for the very reason that you have to mess about with multiple jets - and the inlet manifold has a restricting 90 degree bend in it. Give it back!

The SU carb is perfectly satisfactory for the Morris Minor. Years ago people were fitting all sorts of carbs, Nikki, Weber etc in the belief that they improved performance, which they rarely did.

Hello mstevens,

Unless you have the right manifold you would be better off selling it to someone that owns a stock Mk1 Cortina GT as that is the same one I use on my Cortina. As Mike Perry said the SU is better suited for the Morris Minor.
