huzzar, it works. well ish
it starts, kinda stops, and has presented a whole new set of problems.
when i break it violently lurches to one side and if i brake a few mins later it lurches violently in the other direction.
it uses oil up by the pint, so to me that indicates an engine rebuild in in order
i sometimes throws its self out of 4th gear
the seam where the roof meets the body, above the boot has bubbled and gone rusty, which isnt a good sign
the welds in the B posts, in the forward corner of the windows have broken on both side
but, it does run and stops (occassionally) so by all accounts, its a darn sight better than it was this tme last night
fuel problems maybe?

Maybe getting it going was the least of your worries.
To borrow (and change) the old pilot's mantra, "starting is optional, stopping is mandatory".
Sounds like you need to sort out the structural integrity, brakes, then worry about the engine

from what i remember, Mr Scott or Scotty was quite good at maintaining stractural intergrity.
however, ill have to wait till the show thaws so i can get to the front wheels and see whats happening down there.
as for the structual bit, it is in need of a complete respray at some point, so ill reweld the b-posts when i sort out the paint work
