where to break down next?

Honestly don't know - but some have reported that their masters were 3/8" BSF. I was doubtful about this - always believing it was just the back axle - but they seemed very sure......... I have two spares - I really should check - but it's dark and scarey outside now............
BSF is a Whitworth thread, similar to the association between UNF and UNC, with BSW being the coarser of the two, but both have a common thread profile.
Well - I think that's stretching it ! But yes - it is associated with 'Whitworth' - but you wouldn't normally describe a British Standard Fine thread as whitworth - surely? But it is probably what's meant in this sale - can't see what else it is! Hardly 'rare' though!
Yes the very one - has the brake light switch and 3 other connections 2 x course thread and 1 x fine - at least mine does - one each to the front brakes and one from the master cylinder. Presumably UNF and BSF
Ive posted this before but here is the Moprod catalogue for the minor 57-71 models - its all 3/8" bsf ref SPN on the diagram except the front brake cylinder link pipes 'D' ref SPA on the diagram which are 3/8" unf.
The only thing you need to check is are your fittings double or single flare as there is some variation in this (or perhaps non standard fittings may have been fitted).
The numbers after are the overall length in inches eg SPN 52 = 3/8" bsf both ends, 52" overall pipe length.
I'm still not sure this is correct for all cars - I know for FACT that the bundy pipe that joins to the front flexi pipes - is 3/8" UNF thread - certainly on my car - and it has dead standard flexis fitted.
