I hope that some one on the board can give me some help. A man a few days down the road from me has a morris minor and he was trying to change his eye bolt rubbers but some how the lower wishbone arm rear has come off the torsion bar and he did not mark it. Is the any way by which it can be on on in the right place. I do not know why he was doing it this way.
Thanks for any help given.

Probably a bit trial-and-error, slot it back in at a guesstimated position, bump it to settle the height, and compare with the other side. One spline out will make an appreciable height difference, the fine tuning is by the staggered hole pattern on the rear arm where it clamps to the chassis crossmember.
Yes - just assemble it, no need to do up all the bolts etc - just enough to sit the car on the suspension - then decide if it needs to be up a bit - or down a bit, move the rear half of the front arm round a spline or two as required - and test again. If happy - do up all the bolts and job done. If it was ok before - and the 'fine adjustment' bolts haven't been disturbed - then it's just a matter of getting the front splines right.

I've been through a similar problem recently (I was replacing the lower wishbone) There is a reasonably good method for the initial set up on the tech page of the MMOC website (also on the MMOC tech manual CD) and thereafter its as above trial and error I'm afraid. I still think mine is sitting a little high but I'll wait a couple of weeks in case the new bushes settle a little.

As a rough guide, the end of the lower arm will be about 3 or 4 fingers away from the trunnion pivot pin. (50 to 70mm preload approx).
The actual distance depends on the suspension setting and whether the lower bump stop rubber has come off the plate ot not, so there is no way to give a very accurate setting. If the eyebolt rubbers are renewed, the distance changes a little etc..
However - as mentioned already, one spline error will be over an inch height difference so it should be easy to tell if you're a spline out.
