which mirrors best suit the saloon? seen so many different ones to choose from. ie, wing mount, clip ons, ones that you drill hole under quarter light. welcome your advise and photos if possible :-? :-? :-?

My preference is for convex glass wing mirrors with the longest arms you can get. The circular mirrors look better on older cars and square mirrors suit the later cars. Whatever you choose do not get plain glass as the field of view is very restricted.

i would not go for the quarter light ones.. they lasted 30 minutes on a car I bought.. they were great until I came to the first roundabout when the wing mirror was exactly where I wanted to be looking.. removed them and went for round ones sitting on the wings.

They have the added advantage that it allows my wife to know where the wings are..
