Hi all, and Morris Minor wanted!
Just a note to say hi to you all. I have been hovering about for a while but have now joined up and am actively looking for a Convertible or a saloon to convert and refit.
I have just finished building a Cobra replica and have restored a couple of MG's and Minis in the past, but the Minor is new to me.
However I am not up to a full restoration yet!
The car that would be perfect for me (and safe for the wife and kids) will eventually have discs and servo brakes, and knowing me as I do the engine will probably end up with a little more poke. Also seatbelts galore!
I am keeping an eye on Ebay and the 'For sale' section here, also Charles Ware but he seems a bit pricy.
I have no issue with a different engine, even a sierra gearbox, but am fond of the traditional look.
So Hello!
And if anyone knows of a well restored chassis, preferably white, preferably convertible, please could you point me in the right direction.
Cheers
Ed
