Hey all,
For all you music aficionados, I was 16yrs. old at Woodstock, grew up watching Santana practicing in a large garage in the early days and almost went to every Fillmore West/Winterland concert in San Francisco when it started in 1966-67. My first car was a 1963 Morris Mini Minor back in 1969 in high school.
I'm really not that old, yet!
Cheers,
Steve

Good luck on that one!
It seems that even if we are a big ocean apart our children aren't that different culturally. My 18 year old daughter thinks that even if I gave her my Austin America with an automatic that has been upgraded she thinks it doesn't look cool enough and that it will break down a lot. I drove Minis and Morris Minors for years without difficulty.
Oh well!

Sad to say I am in the 70 -79 group but looking forward to reviving happy memories with a 53 moggie sometime soon.

Re: Ages of MMOC messageboard users.
I'm in the '60-'69 bracket, FWIW, I've always said that I'm going for 100 and when I get there I'm going for 200.
Talk slow, think fast!

50+ now, member since 1979.
My youngest would gladly trade her Clio for a Moggy (preferably soft-top) if it had Cd player/ ipod/ bluetooth for hands free telephone. Apparently, teenagers can't survive in the real world for longer than 30 minutes without this specialised survival equipment.

Re: Ages of MMOC messageboard users.
I'm 23.
Just gave a bloke a deposit for my 2nd Moggy.
1st car was a 1959 4 door in good condition which I regrettably sold last year.
This latest one is a '55 2 door in.......interesting condition.
